I am one fellow who wishes there was no politics or democracy. Think about it, all the current state of the nation is as a result of stupid tribal politics and the worse form of governance called democracy. I am not a political analyst, neither am I a political writer like my friend Okuyu, I actually don't believe in anything political. I sometimes wonder what would happen if I was not born kikuyu, would I still live happily in nyeri? I am a Kikuyu who believes in free thinking, am not a sycophant of the ruling power. I have tried to engage my tribesmen and those from the "other" tribe in joining my free thinking club to no avail. The hatred is real, not from the uneducated fellows from the village but the learned too are tribal as fuck. I am tired of being the voice of reason, let me just be tribal. Tribalism is to Kenya what racism is to the west, it's useless telling Trump to love blacks or telling kuria to love luos. These two are examples of what they represent, they both have a following of like minded people. The answer to such is hatred. Those aligned to Trump hate blacks to the core and the others hate whites.
I am tribal because even the other group has nowhere to take Kenya. When was the last time you heard about a manifesto of the changes Raila has for our lovely country. It's a battle of supremacy, it's a case of kuruka mkojo na kukanyanga mavi. I'd rather have a figure head of a president from my tribe than the same from a different one. I was willing to be the first kikuyu to vote for Raila come next election but for what? I also don't have a reason to vote for Uhuru back but let's face it there must be a tie breaker. Uhuru should not be a hero for buying laptops for kids who school under trees, I think he has failed this nation for letting billions of shillings be stolen under his watch but I cannot disown him as my tribesman, he still is one of us.
The luos will never disown their Raila Odinga despite showing our good country as a failed state to the world. A man who let businesses come down, some stoned and others looted by his goons. He is one of them that won't change. For a man who eyes the presidency it's totally wrong for him to want bad luck to the sitting government. If Raila would join my free thinking club, he would have a strong master piece on how he would make my country better. he would come to nyeri and stage a massive rally to lure voters from the Mt region to vote for him come next election. but Raila would never come to nyeri because he is tribal or the people are tribal, so why would I vote for him. he is in a comfort zone of just showing up in streets and burning tires to call for AIBISI to pack bags and go rather than going to places he was never voted last time and increasing his popularity. What Raila doesn't know is that, western province and coast alone will never vote him in as president even if the United Nations preside the elections, he will need the rift and Mt region, he will need a sound plan for Kenya. If I was Raila I would be busy strengthening my presence in those regions am less popular. Kisumu can demonstrate and stone buildings but that will never be a countrywide demo. I will know Rao could be a national president the day I'll see cord demo in nyeri or muran'ga until then, I will not be on your team.
Uhuru, despite being kikuyu like me has no direct influence in my life. I've never seen him in real life only in TV, I love his eloquence and how people troll him on Twitter. The only reason I'll vote for him is the mere fact that he's kikuyu. When I weigh both Raila and Uhuru they match but as I said there's always the x factor,. I don't know UHURU so my being tribal has its limits. I would never go on the streets for any reason that doesn't directly affect my day to day life. AIBISI doesn't, whether it stays or goes I'll still lead my humble life, Uhuru can come with all his friends but I'll never go to the streets for such crap. I can only vote one time for uhuru whether he wins or raila wins I would never go to the streets. I would never hit my guy Otieno because Raila won and I believe he would not hit me if Uhuru won.
Otieno is my neighbor and we've seen bad days together, just like me he's tribal because he supports his own tribe. I am never offended so is he. I would protect him if a Kikuyu wanted to harm him, I think it's wrong in a nice way. You can spit all you want fellow kikuyus but you are tribal, just that we all need to understand that BEING TRIBAL HAS ITS LIMITS, Let the Luos vote for Rao with no hard feelings, let them support Gor, vote for reason if you have to but deep inside everyone knows am right.
LET ME BE TRIBAL BECAUSE ALL OF YOU ARE TRIBAL
